For this year’s spring break ski vacation, we ventured to the mountains of northern Utah, near the town of Ogden, an hour or so drive from Salt Lake City. Through a mutual friend, we met Henry Osti who owns a fantastic condo in a small town called Eden. His condo is available for rent at
http://www.powdercondo.com. Henry has made a terrific discovery in this town and this condo. The skiing was tremendous and without the crowds you find in the more popular destinations like Park City. Within a few minutes of the condo, you can hit the lifts at Powder Mountain where we literally enjoyed 20-30 minute ski runs without running into a soul along the way. This is the way skiing was meant to be. A little bit further away is Snow Basin resort which is a more upscale resort. Also close by is Wolfe Mountain, which is a very small mountain but with a very nice terrain park which the boys enjoyed.
